Easter In Canberra

I spent easter in Canberra - taking off two days either side of the already long weekend. Was a good break. Maybe more later. For now, I've put up a few photos of the countryside surrounding Canberra. They were taken from the bushland neighbouring the southern edge of Belconnen on an early morning job. They mostly look out over the Mount Stromlo area (bare since the pine forests were burnt out) and on to the Brindabellas.

Dear Ms X,

Why thankyou very much.

Regards,

Mr Y

PS:
If you want it the full size image should be on mum and dad's computer - look in "kevin" folder of my docs, then look for a file called img_4633.jpg (not sure which subfolder its in). Enjoy!

and yeah: print the full sized version of it off, laminate it, chuck it on your wall. Then you can be a clone of me... :0

Dear Mr Y,

What does the Y stand for in your name?

From a curious,

Ms X

Dear curious Ms X,

Thankyou for your question. Well, it may shock you to learn (so prepare yourself: make sure you are seated and take a deep breath) it just so happens that the Y stands for "Why not?". This is quite a common refrain that can be heard from my lips.

Or maybe it's just the next letter after X.

I was considering a pseudonym of "Mr X". But if you're a bit of a sicko (there's plenty of those who read this website...) this pseudonym could raise Jerry Springer style questions - "sordid family love tales: my sister is my wife". Hmmm. Dodgy. Maybe one day I'll see a Jerry show live. I'd just prefer to be in the audience...

Kindest Regards,

Mr Y
