So I was a bit late to choir earlier tonight - had to talk to several of the family who where in Sydney today - and apparently a few more days...

Anyhow, there was a trio of new songs given out. One was The Drunken Sailor (as in: "what shall we do with the drunken sailor", etc), yes that "sea shanty" that all B grade shipping / pirate movies have in them at some point or another. Some of the sounds sung aren't really words... funny, sort of.

Anyhow, this leads me onto September 19 - International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Yarr. Alas, I'll be in Beijing at that time, so this may put a dampner on things.... so I'll probably only get a quiet "yarr" to myself...
