Last Saturday I went (work do) to Mt Mitchell. It's one of the mountains that are either side of Cunningham's Gap - on the road heading South West out of Brisbane (heading to the Darling Downs).

It was a pretty good day. The walk to the top of Mt Mitchell is fairly easy - just 5 km or so, with a fairly gentle incline, work up along the northern edge of the two peaks, then up to the eastern peak from the southern side of it. Anyhow, at the top you don't want to slip - there's steep falls just either side of you.
