There was a grand total of 7 people at choir tonight. Not that that's bad, just different. The balance was reasonable - 1, 2, 2, 2. Anyhow, we sung "My Love's an Albatross". The "And time's jealous finger dim your young charms Machree" clashes with the alto part- need to practice and be confident with that. That and the high G. hmmm. I need to work on my pronunciation and a couple of syncopations on the second page of the weird Italian piece. And the final piece - Crucifixion - just needs a good practice and note bashing from me.
With the imminent end of Mandarin classes, hopefully I'll be able to get at least semi-regular singing lessons again.
Also, a "good and funky" top that was a present a while back was worn for the first (oops) time. Initially, I was slightly iffy, but like it after having it on for a few hours. Nice.
Glad the balance worked out - i was a bit worried about that!! Which section was there only 1 of? As usual, the hermit like side of my nature has emerged during exams - hence my absence. Grrr. Stupid Companies law.

One soprano?? That's quite unusual. Was it Heather? i shouldn't be surprised...Moya and are both enslaved in front of our computers by the study demons, and Alice moved out over the weekend so she was probably stuff. Of course, Alice may have been the one there and my theory is totally wrong.
yeah, a bit odd considering there's 5(?) sopranos in total.
