For the first time I watched an episode of the new series of Doctor Who ("Dalek"). It was pretty cool - heaps updated from what I remember watching as a kid growing up. Good that an explanation for Daleks going up stairs has been given.

Also, Jerry Springer was on Parkinson. He (Jerry) seems like a surprisingly deep / decent / thoughtful guy - somewhat at variance with his show.
