I've just gotten back from a short walk in Bunya forest. The purpose was to load my pack up with everything that I'll be taking to China (that I've got), and just see how my newish clothes go. The result - almost all good.
The only problem I had was with my hat - I was wearing my Akubra - and the back rim of it was continually bumping into my pack. Another hat is on my list of things to get - my Akubra isn't compactable / crush down. So, something with flexible brim is on the cards.
Anyhow, it's less than 3 weeks now before I go. I'll be cruising down to Canberra and Sydney on Thursday night - saying bye to people, and hi to little people in Sydney. From the photos I've seen - she's the cutest!
Anyhow, the other big thing I need to do before I go is my QUT assignment. It's in some desperate need for attention. Speaking of which, I should do some work on it this afternoon.
Have you considering trying a cap?
Regards Ms X
Dear Ms X,
Yes, I have. But don't want it - I don't like the lack of sun protection. I've been burnt on the back of my neck enough...
I'm thinking that I'll go the bucket hat style option.
Regards,
Mr Y
