I got the windscreen of my car replaced this afternoon. Coming back from the last of my trips in the bush (well, second last trip, last trip with my car), I got a stone in the top right corner, and a crack that kept on spreading into the centre of the screen. I thought that it had stabilised (at about 30 or 40 cm long), but I gave it a bit of a push (but not very hard at all) from the inside, and it grew by another 5 cm or so: dodge - needs replacing.

After waiting a bit more than the hour needed for the glue / resin to cure, I drove around for a bit… and it is amazingly clear. It’s like there’s nothing there at all. (Probably what it should have been all along…)

So, how long until I get my first chip?
