Well, I woke up at 2.45 am or something, and haven't been able to get any sleep. So at 5am, I decided to do something productive... and I've ended up blogging.... yeah that's right... productive. Irony eh... Actually, I'll do some emails soon (after this).
I'm not too surprised. Went to bed a bit on the early side. There's only so much water I can drink to get myself feeling better... ahh alcohol.
I hope to finish my second (final) assignment today (Saturday). Send them in on Monday. But then again if I'm half asleep when I'm trying to work, things may take a bit longer.
I was vaguely unimpressed with myself on Thursday afternoon... the grand total of pushups I was able to do was a big fat 0. Although considering the situation this was entirely unexpected. On Tuesday for the first time in ages (several weeks due to my awayness from Brisbane for work), I went to the gym. Then (and again on Thursday), did not use the rowing machine - except for a very light warmup. I think this was partially why it was easier to push more weight. (Not that I do much anyway...). But still - after Tuesday and Thursday I was pretty much buggered. My gymness will hopefully get me a bit more time and strength in the water come summer. (Or next weekend, possibly).
Music wise, good old (abliet overplayed to death) Pachebel's canon has made it's way into a piece we're playing - Flight. It will be for our end of year gig - 'coming home for christmas' or something like that (a travel theme). Considering the recent reshuffle of some of the brass sections - with the (strong) first trumpet blasting into my left ear - I'm half considering getting ear plugs like several of the other clarinetists. For some strange reason I want to keep my hearing for as long as possible! Hmmmm.... I should consult a friendly audiologist.
Probably will drop into the library in the morning (not open in afternoon) to pick up a book.
I wonder what strange things will be in the conservation on Sunday night? Who knows.
what are you planning on conserving on sunday? some local bushland? ha ha
or rather who are you intending on conversing with?
... I had been up for a couple of hours when I wrote it at 5am...
Sunday night - probably doing something (after rehearsal) with a friendly sandwich maker.
Maybe you could discuss the birds and the bees!
We didn't. Well, not directly... Other semi-related topics came up in the conversation though...
