Ohh, this morning I got myself a new compass. Just a basic baseplate Silva. I've wanted one for a while, didn't want to take my thumb compass tonight. Tonight was the excuse.

It will be interesting tonight though - much less detail on the map. Apparently it is 1:40,000; not the 1:10k I am used to (or sometime 15k). Hmmmmm...
