Last weekend I did my tax return, and like previous years, after I do my tax return, I figure out how much money I will donate to charity in the coming year. So, how much this time? A few options – a certain amount; a certain percentage of my income; or alternatively what I spend on myself. It seems though, that probably the most effective way of doing things is to get the government to do it. Donating my time to increase federal government overseas aid (letter writing?).?

you could always do both (money and time). I think write about something that 'rocks your boat' or that you feel passionate about. Or you could look at the stats (Dad would be pleased!) on the ethnicity/background of the majority of Aussie refugees - and lend yr voice to their cause. Love you bro!
