Straight No Chaser's version.
Another possible option.
A little while back (when up North) I took these notes from a discussion about life:
Two mentalities:
Farmer - nurtures what they've got
Hunter - kills / takes what they can, and then eventually moves onto the next pasture after everything is gone. Scarcity mentality.
"To contribute to a positive way to society and the environment in which I live" is a farmer mentanilty.
Next question:
What would you do if you got told you had 24 hours to live. What about 1 month, 1 year, 10 years. If you’ve just got 10 years left. It's OK to have a project / objective that will take 10 years, but if you get told half way through that you’ve only got 24 hrs, then that’s ok if you’ve been making progress toward your 10 year goals. By making progress to the 10 year goal, the things on the 24 hrs list are fewer. Maybe living a good life is to have minimal jobs / things to do on your 24hrs list.
