These are just some reminders for me:
When buying (black) shoes - a solid heal block is required if I wear down the heal and want to get the heal fixed (as opposed to buying a new pair of shoes)
For glasses, consider the depth (height?) of the glasses; and also the frame colour. Lighter frame is better for me.
I've made several changes to this website:
* Fixing up of the links at the top of the page - I'm not travelling to the middle east, but South America again this year
* Update of the software that is used to manage the blog (movable type) to the current release. The previous version I was using was 4 or 5 or so years old... awesome. There's better mobile device support with the newer version.
* For simplicity, (and ease of upgrade of software - there probably are technical solutions to these issues, but I don't have the time to find them): removed commeter urls; removed support for blank entries; removed the 'photos' section of the website.
* Removal of the photo section was made for two main reasons:
- I don't use this website for photos (facebook is used instead)
- the way the previous version managed them was with a custom field for the filename of the picture, which was going to be hard (although I doubt impossible to resolve)
